- character reference (e.g. the parson, teacher in German)
- medical certificate (not older than 3 months)
- hand written personal record in letter form addressed to your host family in German. It should contain data concerning the own family, their hobbies, collected experiences in the household and with children as well as your motives for an au pair stay
- 4 passport pictures and 2 photos with your family and/or the children cared for
